Complaints and appeals.

As representatives of the licence fee payers, we take complaints about the BBC very seriously. This section explains our role in ensuring that the BBC responds to complaints in a fair and timely way.

Fair trading appeals findings

The BBC Trust hears fair trading appeals as necessary and publishes here reports of the appeals it has considered.

Some fair trading appeals raise issues of commercial sensitivity that may make full disclosure inappropriate. The Trust will always consult complainants about publication in these circumstances.

If you want to make a fair trading complaint or appeal against a complaints finding, you can find out what to do in Complaints and Appeals, and How to Appeal Over a Fair Trading Complaint.
